Captain Saud – Anime Series
Captain Saud is a Japanese-style animated series that our studio had the privilege to work on for nearly two years. The project, commissioned by the Ministry of Sports, Saudi Arabia, consists of 24 episodes, each running approximately 8 minutes.
The story revolves around the inspiring journey of a young boy who dreams of becoming a successful professional football player. Across the series, viewers follow his path as he works tirelessly toward his goal, facing numerous challenges both on and off the field. Each episode captures a new stage of his growth — from the struggles of personal discipline and overcoming self-doubt, to handling rivalry, injuries, and intense competition.
The narrative blends drama and action in a way that keeps audiences emotionally invested while delivering thrilling sports sequences. Through its storytelling, the series not only showcases the protagonist’s determination and resilience but also reflects the universal challenges faced by athletes in pursuit of their dreams.
Our studio handled every stage of production entirely in-house — from concept development, scriptwriting, and storyboarding, to character design, background art, animation, sound design, and final compositing. This complete control over the production process allowed us to ensure consistent quality and deliver a visually captivating and emotionally engaging series.
The result is a project that we’re incredibly proud of — a compelling sports drama brought to life with the heart and energy of Japanese-style animation, created with the same passion and dedication as the story it tells.
